HVAC Installations, Repairs, and More
Routine maintenance is a good idea for your heating and cooling equipment, too. Schedule a cooling tune-up in the spring and a heating tune-up in the fall. Most HVAC warranties require it. Regular maintenance can lower your month-to-month heating and cooling bills. It can also help avoid many repairs and extend the life of your equipment.
If the time has come to upgrade your equipment, consider a heat pump. Heat pumps provide air conditioning like a central AC but heating, too. Better yet, that heating is generally less expensive than heat from a furnace or boiler.
There are ground-source heat pumps that you can run year-round. An alternative is hybrid heating, which has an air-source heat pump and a furnace. The heat pump provides most of a home’s heat. The furnace runs when it’s too cold for the heat pump to be efficient.
